The mission of the Church of the Holy Comforter is to bring all people to Christ, feed and nurture them, and send them out to continue Christ's work.
The Church of the Holy Comforter is an Episcopal parish, offering worship and religious growth and development according to the forms and beliefs of the Episcopal Church USA and the Anglican Communion (the worldwide Church of which the Episcopal Church is a part). |
The Community We Serve
Holy Comforter serves people of all ages from Drexel Hill, Havertown, Springfield, Lansdowne, and other communities in Delaware County, an area of suburban Philadelphia. We have regular ministry programs, including Sunday School, Bible study groups, and an active Youth Group. Our Outreach programs serve shut-ins in the community with meals, transportation, and other assistance. Our church building is home to Alcoholics Anonymous, Girl Scouts, and the Child Evangelism Fellowship as well as to musical recitals and other events. We also host a privately operated daycare center for pre-school children. |
